Kim and I walked halfway across the bridge with a bunch of friends from St. Ignace. Here are some of the photos:

A couple of recent moon shots. The first was on a tripod with my large telephoto, and the 2nd one is from the recent Super Moon with the reflections off of Lake Huron.
A group of us went on a shipwreck boat tour out of Cheboygan. I didn’t get too many great shots of the ship wrecks, which were very interesting, but did come away with a couple that I thought came out pretty well

One of the largest car shows in the country is held here in St. Ignace on the last weekend in June. Here are a couple of pics from the show:
Kim and I attended the Tulip Time Festival in Holland, Michigan. The town goes all out for their tulips with over 6 million tulips spread across venues, streets and parks throughout the city. It is really hard to take a bad picture with tulips, such a pretty flower.
In the suburbs of Germfask, Michigan lives Benny the Beard Fisher. Benny is a troll created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo from recycled materials. Benny is 30 feet long and 14 feet tall. Benny fishes on the Manistique River in Michigan’s Upper Penninsula.
It is truly a unique piece of fun art and is going to be featured in an upcoming children’s book by the artist.
